Resources

CLASS project resources

  • Sustained ocean observations

CLASS links existing long-term observational programmes into a comprehensive, integrated pan-Atlantic observing system that contributes to a globally coordinated programme of sustained observations.

  • Modelling

CLASS maintains and further develops world-leading ocean modelling capability to enable ground-breaking science, and to provide reliable predictions of environmental change to Government and international assessment efforts, including IPCC.

  • Technology

CLASS enhances the currently available observing infrastructure through the development of new sensor technologies for biogeochemistry and biological measurements, and through improvements in the observing systems required to operate them.
