Call for Nominations: Decade Advisory Board

A call for nominations to the Decade Advisory Board for the UN Ocean Decade has now been published.

From the IOC Secretariat:

"The Decade Advisory Board will be a multi-stakeholder advisory body that will assist the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO in performing its function as coordinator of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, 2021-2030 (the 'Ocean Decade')."

It is expected that the Board will have up to 15 expert members from a range of sectors (e.g. government, private, philanthropy, civil society, scientific community) serving in their individual capacity. They will sit alongside five representatives of the UN.
