Three post-docs join STEMM-CCS
STEMM-CCS welcomes three new people in post-doctoral positions at the University of Bergen, Uni Research and Southampton University.
Maribel Garcia-Ibáñez joins us from Spain and will work on the determination of spatial and temporal variability of chemical, physical and biological parameters as part of the baseline studies work. She will be based at Uni Research in Bergen.
Virginia Lacal will also be based in Bergen, but at the University where she will be responsible for compiling current statistics based on data from measurements and models. Using this work, statistical predictions for spatial and temporal signals from a gas seep will be made.
At Southampton University, Anita Flohr will continue to pursue her research interests in marine carbon related areas where she will be assessing natural and artificial tracers for their suitability as detectors of CO2 leakage.
