Joint NERC-NASA collaboration for BIO-Carbon Stage 2 announced – with linked workshop

NERC have just released pre-announcements for the final round of BIO-Carbon funding, to open in spring 2026. Stage 2 is planned to build on the results emerging from the earlier stages of the programme, to apply this new knowledge to how we capture key processes in our models. In an exciting new partnership, NASA is planning to support collaborations with researchers in the US where the NASA EXPORTS programme has been tackling similar themes.
