CO2Meso

CO2Meso aims to provide a foresight analysis of the potential and risks of mesopelagic fishery. We combine observations and global coupled biogeochemical and food web modelling (both with focus on changes in the carbon uptake) with economic aspects, which evaluate the potential economic relevance of mesopelagic organisms as potential new food source as well as necessary regulations (and their legal requirements) for a responsible management.
